The 2019 anime adaptation of Fruits Basket is the second iteration of the manga series by Natsuki Takaya. This version covers all 23 volumes of the story. After being welcomed into the Soma family, Tohru discovers that twelve family members undergo involuntary transformations into animals from the Chinese zodiac.
